Job responsibilities:
We are currently seeking an enthusiastic individual to join our team as an Analytical Chemist. Your overall responsibilities will include the following:
- Working harmoniously with all fellow employees.
- Independently plan and execute analytical method development efforts by developing standard and complex raw material, in-process control, intermediate control, and API test methods and ensure that they provide adequate support of the specified limits.
- Perform analysis using Different Instruments (e.g. HPLC, GC, LCMS/MS, GCMS, UV-Vis, FTIR) and wet chemistry techniques.
- Research and apply new technologies / methodologies.
- Prepare method development updates for client review.
- Author analytical test methods and specifications for final product release and critical intermediates.
- Conduct process development sample analyses.
- Conduct peer review of critical analyses of process development batches.
- Plan and prepare analytical method validation protocols, carry out lab-work and prepare reports.
- Plan and prepare stability protocols, carry out lab-work and prepare reports.
- Perform standard qualifications testing.
- Assist in project planning and staff training.
Position requirements:
- Analytical chemistry University degree.
- Minimum 5 years industrial experience in analytical method development for APIs and chemical intermediates.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and oral, time management skills, and good record-keeping ability.
- Ability to investigate and troubleshoot laboratory instrumentation and technical issues.
- Excellent knowledge of QA/QC, ISO and GLP systems.
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks at one time.
- Positive mental attitude is a must!
